Twyfelfontein (Afrikaans: uncertain spring), officially known as ǀUi-ǁAis (Damara/Nama: jumping waterhole), is a location of ancient rock carvings in the Kunene Region of northwestern Namibia. It is comprised of a spring in a valley surrounded by the slopes of a sandstone plateau that receives minimal rainfall and experiences a broad range of daily temperatures.
